Thanks for visiting!

Thanks for your interest in Urban Mindfulness! As you know, living and working in the city can be quite stressful (or delightful), depending on the specific experience and our attitude towards it. Our problematic attitudes revolve around rejection and disconnection--both of which perpetuate our stress over time. This website and my book reveal that we cultivate peace and joy by becoming more aware of our experiences, even the "negative" ones. Don't believe me? Then try some mindfulness practices in the city and see what happens.
As you can see, this blog is updated infrequently now. For the past few years, I've been studying and practicing mindfulness from the perspective of early Buddhism, which has left less time for blogging. However, there is still very good content available on the site. Please check out prior posts and the various resources. More updates may come in the future, so please sign-up for the mailing list, if you'd like. In the meantime, thank you very much for your interest and support.
